Rest &preparation

A basecamp day for everyone, preparing the high altitude food and gas that we will carry along the ridge and resting up for the coming days of effort.

Tomorrow Rick,Sandy and I try to touch the site of camp 2 (6200m?) and then sleep at camp 1. The Sherpas try to set camp 2 and perhaps push beyond it. There will be a very early (04.00) start for everyone.

Sorting out 24kgs of high altitude food (6 people x 8 days).
